Before you begin this course, I have to issue some disclaimers and disclosures.

Please be aware of the following:

  • I am not a doctor.
  • I am not a therapist, or formally certified alcohol coach / sobriety coach.
  • This course is not a “mutual support group” such as Alcoholics Anonymous or SMART Recovery.
  • This course is not a “treatment center” such as an inpatient or IOP (intensive outpatient) rehab.
  • I do have a certification in holistic nutrition (CCWFN provided by the coursework at IFNH.org).
  • I am an author of a personal-development workbook called SoulBiotics: 28 Days of Probiotics for your Soul (mind/body/spirit lit, available at Soulbiotics.com)
  • I am currently a facilitator for in-person SMART Recovery® meetings, but this course does not take from them directly. It reaches back to the publicly-known/public-domain and published tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy such as the CBA and ABC that are widely used to help people seeking sobriety.
  • The health recommendations I make here are for informational use only and should be carefully considered by you. All responsibility regarding the use of any over-the-counter supplements I recommend in the text and in the videos rests with you. If you have doubts regarding these things, rely on your doctor.

For the course itself…

Each lesson will have a “Complete” “Previous” and “Next” buttons at the bottom. Once you have completed a Lesson, mark it “Complete” and hit the “Next” button to proceed to the next lesson. If you need to go back, hit the “Previous” button.

The course is set to take the lessons in the order they are presented (you can’t jump ahead). The reason for this is because each day builds on the information from the previous.

Sobriety is an inside job.

It is up to you how much of your heart you put into it. No group, program, rehab, online course or medication is a magic wand or silver bullet to get you better. All these things can help, but the transformation happens within.

Don’t get discouraged… no one is judging you here. Stick with it. I don’t know how many “Day One’s” I had in my life before I finally quit for good. They were countless. Your effort is not in vain.

Be encouraged 🙂

OK…. Now get to it! Start Lesson 1

REMINDER

This course is NOT a substitute for professional healthcare advice or treatment. Also, when this course was originally filmed, I was offering a weekly Live Session via Zoom. Sometimes the video or the homework might mention the Live Session, however, I am no longer able to host them. So please remember that even though this Lesson might mention a Live session, it is no longer part of this course. Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for this annoying popup.
