On Day 1, we’re going to explore some common reasons why you may be wanting to get sober.

  • Maybe loved ones are pushing you, maybe your health or job is suffering.
  • Maybe you can’t take the shame or the pain anymore.
  • Maybe you woke up and didn’t recognize the ceiling because you slept at a stranger’s house… or you can’t remember where you parked the car.
  • Maybe you feel like crap, you can’t look at yourself in the mirror anymore, you’ve come to the end of the line and you know you need to do something. You’re desperate for a change, but you’re also ambivalent and afraid of giving it all up.

There are a myriad of reasons we come to the point where we want to change, or know we need to change, and it spurs us to actually DO SOMETHING about it. Today we’ll explore that topic on the video lesson, and we’ll work on your first homework assignment I call the “Push/Pull,” which is something I want you to keep with you at all times… in your coat pocket, on your car visor, in your wallet/purse – basically you should keep a copy wherever you have the cash or credit cards you use to purchase alcohol.

So let’s get started… (Watch the Video) BTW, the first couple days have the longest of the videos… like 20+ minutes. They’re not all that long, so don’t worry. There was just a TON of information I had to put in there to get you started.

This course is NOT a substitute for professional healthcare advice or treatment. Also, when this course was originally filmed, I was offering a weekly Live Session via Zoom. Sometimes the video or the homework might mention the Live Session, however, I am no longer able to host them. So please remember that even though this Lesson might mention a Live session, it is no longer part of this course. Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for this annoying popup.
